How many 7's with thunder downpipe

Would like to know how many happy 7 owners there are that installed their downpipe. So far i'm not one of you.
Had searched for downpipe before buying and read nobody had problems with the thunder fab combo.
Fact is, my o2 sensor hits the egr valve, 02 sensor looks stock, same looking connector as rest of connectors.
#2, after downpipe straightens out the pipe is resting on first screw of heat sheild.
#3, flange at end of mid section doesn't align easily with y pipe flange.
#4, rear flange is terribly close to heat sheild, the slightest torquing of the motor would cause it to hit the underside of car.
My present exhaust fit properly, no problems at all.

Seems to me that both flanges could be welded at wrong angles, front flange needs to be turned toward the drivers side, and rear turned to the passenger side.
Hard to believe their jig would be off like this.
At this point do I cut the flanges and reposition them or just try to return this pipe.
Your thoughts would be appreciated!

Hmm...we'll I ripped off by heat shield that was over the stock downpipe/midpipe if that's what you're talking about. my o2 sensor fit's fine, it doesn't touch anything. Hmmm it was a little hard to align it with my stock y pipe, but it wasn't really that hard. What really get's me is when you say your 02 sensor is hitting the egr valve, that is really wack. Talk with thunder fabrications and tell them what's up.
