The bigger the diameter, the deeper the tone... With that being said...

Thats what i used to have, i sorta miss it and i dont. It was LOUD and had a deep sound to it. From my experience all my single exhaust seemed to be louder.

You need to run offset, straight-through perforated mufflers.
None of that other stuff does much.

Yep.
Just makes sure it's not straight-though, STRAIGHT-THROUGH!
The offset allows the exhaust gases to hit one side of the pipe.
Energy tends to travel in a straight line.
That's why I mentioned "OFFSET".
GReddy used to use this design in their old SP series exhausts.
Racing Beat does this with the mufflers.

The straight-through mufflers hardly do anything!

Yea the same way acoustics work in a room... You want to engineer the sound (speaker placement) so it maintains velocity, without colliding with opposing frequencies... I get it!

ignore the ignition break up at the end that was tuned out on later dyno pulls.

That's attrociously loud...

A muffler on a street car is no good if you can't hear the radio or talk to someone when cruising at 80 (3500~ in 5th), with the windows up, imo (and mine is kind of borderline when it comes to that).

May not be the best set-up I have on right now,But I'm Upgrading.I have a Pacesetter Header, with a Modified aftermarket presilencer. From the Presilencer I am runnin the Turbo Racing Beat Set-up.Three inch Y pipe to the Turbo Racing Beat Mufflers. It is on MY N/A.The sound that comes out of that Car is Headturning. It Screams to be Let loose!(in a Nutshell..I like it!)..The Pacesetter Header 'does it's Job" But I feel that Racing Beat Header is going to make the car sound Even better. The Construction of the Header is much more Superior to that of the Pacesetter.(Pipes are thicker on the RB.)

make sure you port your waste gate before slapping on a giant 3 inch downpipe, unless you want to hit fuel cut or blow your engine that is.

And I thought you were one of the people who enjoyed helping others... Must have had you mistaken for someone else...

Try to stick with the question, and save the V8 talk for the "other engine conversions" section aight?
