How to make a test lamp for S5 NA for the TPS

Hey guys, I am looking over the shop manual. They said to test the TPS I need to use a check lamp to test it out. If I remember right, we can make one on our own. I am wondering if anyone have a link to a page that will show you how to make one? I made one for the 86-88 car, would that work. But if my memory serves me correctly, that is 2 connector, the TPS plug is 3 connector on the 90. Can someone point me to a good direction

I just went through my tool box. Find a 2 light test lamp, it has one where the redwire on both light goes together. Then the other 2 connector each have 1 yellow wire going through it. I guess this is my test lamp?

Instead of test lamps, I use 2 12v LEDs. Then just put them in the 3 plug test connector. I forget which part goes to - and +, but you just connect one side of the LEDs together and plug it into the top then the other two wires into the bottom two plugs. Thats a pretty bad explanation, but I think you know what I'm getting at.

Here's another writeup:

12V lights and up are high risk for frying your ECU.

I used the replacement bulbs you get with X-mas tree lights.

2 12v led's, twist (+)red wires together and stick in single hole in the connector, and put one of each of the (-)black wires in the other spots.

confused the hell out of me the first time i tried it because i kept sticking the black wires in the single hole because i figured it was a ground.
