How long is your (non-turbo?) throttle cable?

I'm trying to figure out where we found this throttle cable...
We're using it on a 13B-REW UIM on a 13BT and it fits perfectly.

Ordering a new (1988) FC non-turbo throttle cable was too short!
This throttle cable was 12" from firewall clip to metal crimp.

The first throttle cable is 18" from firewall clip to metal crimp.

We all know the FC turbo ones are really long, cause it snakes all the way around the intake manifold.

Are all the FC non-turbo throttle cables all one size / part number?
If anyone can check their non-turbo throttle cable length (from firewall clip to metal crimp), I'd be grateful!

I just measured my S4 one.

It's 19 3/4in from firewall to the end of the cable.

Another option, I think it's Edelbrock that makes a universal throttle cable that uses a braided inner wire, screw-type ferrules and a stainless-steel braided cover that looks great and can be cut to whatever length you need. I think Pep Boys carries them.

My '91 NA cable is just under 12" from firewall to bracket.

Hmmm...it sounds like all the non-turbo ones are the same length.
Thanx for the data, guys!

I guess it would be a long shot it would be different for a vert?

I can't imagine it being much different from N/A to vert, perhaps someone will chime in with that spec for you.

We're thinking it might be a RHD that somehow gotten into the USA distribution chain...
That 18" cable was bought from the local Mazda dealer here in Hawaii.

Nah, the US-spec 13B-REW out of an FD is also long like the FC turbo one.

Long shot that it might be a 12A unit - I got someone checking that for me right now.
