how long would this setup last

not going into great detail, but curious about how long a peripheral ported engine with say...a T66 would last.

peripheral port engines last longer than bridgeport engines... but they both suck for reliabilit.

Track? 5,000miles
street? 10,000-20,000 would be my estimate.

I don't think fingers has it right not to doubt him though. But I remember reading a post way back about a dridge port engine that had 40k miles on it. So it a peri port engine last longer I would say it should be more no?

Santiago

PS- we can only speculate and give rough estimates anyways.

T66 is too small for a p-port, i thought. with a peripheral port, god knows what rpm you'll be revving to, and I think a T66 will run out of steam.
