How To(knock Control Box)

Unhappy How To(knock Control Box)

Did Anybody Nows How To Hook Up An S4 Knock Control Box To A N/a Wiring Harness(i Searched) What Happens Its My Brother 88 Tii Caught Fire A Few Days Ago (dam Pulsetion Dampers)and The Harness Its Complety Gone,we Have And N/a Harness And The T2 Knock Box With The Conector Theres Four Wires Coming Out Of The Box One Is Light Green With Red Lines ,one Black With A White Line And Red Small Lines The Third One Is Completly Black And The Forth One Is Black With Red Small Lines.i Found On Archives That One Wire Is The Input Signal To The Box(knock Sensor To The Box )one Wire Goes To Pin 1r On The Ecu One Power And One Ground Now My Question Can Anybody Tell Me Which Off The Wires Goes To The Knock Sensor.which Wire Go To Dam Box,and Which One Goes To The Ecu.thanks

I Guess That The Black Wire Is The Ground

I Guess That The Black Wire Is The Ground
Right?
It's a piece of cake. Download the series four fsm wiring diagrams and look. You'll see where each of the wires come from and go to from the box. I'm not near my book right now so I can't tell you.

Looking at the knock box's connector, from the wire side of the plug, there is a BLACK wire that goes into the upper right, top socket. IT is a ground wire.

The wire just to the left of the one above is Gray and is a shielded wire from the knock sensor itself.

Just below that Grey wire is a Black/White wire. It is a source of 12vdc. Find a good source of 12vdc nearby. Maybe tap into pin 3I???????

Just to the left of that Black/White wire is a Light Green wire. It goes to pin 1R on the ECU.

The other sockets are empty. Right? Right.

Throw that **** away.
It gets ignored over 4kRPM, and it will NOT save your engine if you hit severe detonation.
