How to keep vac hoses on?

My vacuum hose going to my stock fpr (puls. damper) keeps coming off. I'm wondering if it's possible for the fpr to be leaking fuel, causing my vacuum hose to expand, and therefore come off. Or is it just too early in the morning for me, and the hose is just slipping off although it's only the vacuum nipple off this fpr that the vacuum hoses come off on?

Get another vac hose. I've never had one come off. Is it a rock hard vac hose? Could be its gotton toooooo old to work anymore.

Fuel leaking thru it? Never seen that, but it seems you could look at it when the engine is idling and see for yourself with the vac hose off.

I went complete silicon Vac hoses and used the really small zip ties to ensure that they stay on.. this seems to be the standard!

Mine was leaking fuel through the Vac port, kept blowing off the hose.I went to Autozone and bought a new FPR for about $50

With zip ties, you have control of the grip.

Selling the car - want to frustrate the new owner - super glue..

I am adding my suggestion here:
Bent tip long nose pliers are great for handling hoses.
You can pull & push hoses straight on & off without having to work at odd angles & break plastic nipples.

Just so you know, the FPR and the pulsation damper are two totally different things. The FPR is on the end of the secondary rail and has a vac line; the pulsation damper is on the end of the primary rail and has no vac line.

Just replace it with new line. Old brittle lines don't grip as well as flexible new ones.
