How Heavy is and Auto Tranny?
Hopefully someone is around to answer this. I'm going to take an auto tranny out while lying on my back rather than use a lift, as I always have with N/A and Turbo manuals, and I'd prefer not to be surprised.

its heavier, about 120lbs.
i would put a floor jack under the trans and then just lay on the side and guide it, once its down, you can kick it off the jack and slide it out from under the car

So the same as a Turbo. Going by the curb weights I was expecting about +30lbs over an NA 5-speed; looks to be thereabouts. T's elicit a few grunts, but nothing crushing.
