how hard is it to swap out a rear end?

I have a 91 parts car that was a 5spd and I am thinking about putting the rear end out of it into the 90 auto I have.

Only thing I worry about the condition of the 91 rear because it has more miles on it than my 90.

if it is a big deal to do for the average mechanic then I will leave it be. I just figured I could gain a little speed by getting the rear out of the 5spd.

worth it??

I am not swapping out the 5spd yet cause I just dumped too much money into the rebuilt auto I just had put in. tranny was cheap but shipping and install was not. I was forced to have it put in because of time problems(work)

Regardless of what you paid I'd do the swap right away. THe 4.10 will help your autos acceleration a bit. Anyhow it takes most experienced mechanics a couple hours. Its almost easier to replace the transmission. But it is a bitch however.
