How to get at washer motor?

It looks like the washer motor in my '89 TII needs to be replaced, but I'm not seeing an easy way to get at it. As far as I can tell, I can either remove the bumper and right head light, or try getting at it from the front right wheel well (somehow, not entirely clear yet). Neither option looks easy so I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions (ie how did you get at your washer motor?).

The FSM and part manual don't appear to have any suggestions on how to get at the motor, and none of my searches are suggesting anything useful

Thanks

Oh that is fun..
Starts off with removing half the plastic under the front driver's side.Brake duct..stuff like that.
I took mine out for the FMIC and then I needed a jug/motor so I just bought an aftermarket kit and wired the pump to a switch.
I hated the stock setup for 2 reasons.
#1: I do not need a Gallon of washer fluid in my drivers corner that weighs 20 pounds!
and #2:well it was in the freakin road of my IC pipes!

1) Remove wheel
2) Remove fender liner

Also note that there are few different versions and placements of the washer tank. My convertible has a 1.5L tank in front of the passenger-side wheel.
