I hate these posts.

IMHO, you should do a 60k... fix EVERYTHING that is broken... drive it for a year.... THEN, consult this thread. After 1 year reading **** on this forum, you'll have a much better idea of what to get. And with a perfectly running car, you'll appreciate the mods a lot more when you aren't battling maintenance.

Money isn't much of a problem.
NA + Stock ECU = Not fast

I did the 60k tuneup (although it only has 55k miles on it), and fixed everything already.

It's also being completely repainted as we speak.

I will obviously drive it like this for a couple of months and then perform these modifications. I just have anxiety issues and I need to know now what I will be able to do in a near future.

Living in a country in which no one knows how to program a standalone EMS doesn't help. I would buy one if I knew how to set it up myself -- but as far as I know, it's pretty complicated.

Question

Any LSD recommendations?

I was checking Mazdatrix for LSD's, and I'm interested in the following:

- Kaaz LSD 1.5 Way
- Torsen LSD

Any comments on these two?

If you arent worried about noise as much as most of the grandmas on here you can get a header and 2.5" piping back to a good muffler instead of the restrictive RB system.

I know people on here would love to argue with me all day long about it, but if you arent one to be driving around afraid of getting pulled over for noise pollution tickets (which you wont with a decent muffler) then go for what i'm telling you.

My car is a stock manifold car with 2.5" to 3" piping to a greddy muffler, it is a very large canister with a straight through design and is much quieter than my friends pt-68 FC with an N1 on it. Definately streetable and with 2.5" piping all the way should be even quieter for you.

But then again a forum is for people to state their opinions and debate right?

a stock manifold is quieter than running headers. my car became much louder going from stock manifold to RB header, so i don't think it's a valid comparison.

for LSD honestly the stock S4 unit working properly is fine. torsens or expensive aftermarket clutch LSDs otherwise are great depending on application.

Wow, Mushiki, I feel bad for you, there has been way too much misinformation posted here regarding suspension and exhaust. The twin exhaust pipes merging into a single near the back is a good idea, but if you don't have access to a custom exhaust maker, a RB Road/Race True Dual is good enough for your needs

See the new RTEK chip. Essentially an EMS, for $500. Full control of timing and fuel correction 50%+/-. Also you can change the rev limit, 6pt open rpm and VDI open RPM.

i made 154whp on a Mustang dyno out of a stock port S4 NA, and stock ECU:
https://www.rx7club.com/time-slips-dyno-128/my-89-na-dyno-665893/

that is about as much as you could expect out of a stock port NA, to give you an idea. i'd be willing to bet though that is as much as most stock TIIs, if not a little more...
