quick question...a stock 87 non turbo is supposed to run 15.5 sec in the 1/4 mile...with the 114000 miles i have on it...obviously not...so what would be the best way and quickest way to gain the power i need and want back?
and also...how do i find out what model my car is...i have asked a few people and noone can figure it out and it say it nowhere in the car not the door panel or under the hood...if someone knows please let me know thanks...gerry

to get the power back......spend lots of money. LOL
sorry, but if you knew the amount of money i have dumped into my na, you would probably cry along with me. Start off by getting a compression test done, should be 120 on all faces of both rotors. than if thats good, get a simple tune up, from there make sure everything else(belts, vacuum lines, drivetrain) are all in good shape, than depending on your budget start modding, check my sig list for almost everuthing bolt on that can go on a na.
as to what model you have, give some details. do you have 4 piston front brakes. what size wheels do you have(if stock) what are some of the options, crawl under the back end of the car and see if it has a limited slip differential tag on the fill hole on the differential. list off the options on your car and someone will definitly know what model it is

well i have the exhaust...i bought a down pipe and cat combo from rx7.com for like 400$ and the i got the cat-back from pacesetter and it seems to give me some more power and is the cone air filter setup better than getting a k&n for the airbox?? becuase as everyone knows these cars have a virtual cold air intake from the factory..
