how do you test volt in fuel pump?

like the title states, how do you test the voltage on the fuel pump for a 88t2? i want to make sure im within spec. thanks

Was quite a while ago, but I hooked up a volt meter to the pump connections and took it for a ride to be certain the voltage was correct at the pump. Can't remember the readings at this time and too lazy to look in ther FSM, but as there is lesser volts during normal operation and 12 volts when under full throttle.
