how do you take out the damn rear seats????? (i searched)

I am really confused. I'm tyring to take out my rear seats(87' N/A)and swap in my storage bins, but I can't get the seats out.

I searched and found something that said to push the seat back and pull on the tabs. are those tabs the little metal things behind the seat? I tried pulling them, but no luck. I don't see any other tabs or bolts or anything. any ideas????

does anyone know what I'm talking about??

The bolts are located between the upper and lower part of the seat.

How much do the seats weigh...anyone know? How about compared to the bins...or what if I just don't put anything back there?

The difference between seats and bins (on all the charts I've seen) was only 10 pounds... but this may be manufacturers data...

yeah i know what you are talking about. the tabs that you have to pull up are in the front of the bottom part of the seat. like if you were sitting in the back seat the tabs would be between the middle of your legs. just push the bottom part of the seat back and then pull up on that part of the seat and that will get those tabs out. then you can slide the seat forward and out. then you can get to the bolts to get the top part of the back seat out. whala! It took me a while to figure it out to, but its easy.
