How do you remove sunroof from an 88 gxl??

I need to remove the sunroof from my car its extremly rusted and ugly. Im gonna order one online and paint it but i have no clue how to remove the one i have.

get the factory service manual... www.fc3s.org it'll tell you....just get the body section

Open the roof up, but not back. The roof headliner panel is held by 6 plastic snaps, it will pry off. Then you will see the attaching screws.

actually the motor is broken and i cant open it at all except for the manual open but that seems to not work at all
