Question How do you remove rear seats?

Before anyone tries to flame me, yes I tried researching and what I found suggested I download the FSM. Being that I'm 56K right now, that isn't much of an option if I want to do this today.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks

use a plasma cutter and just cut them straight out, im sure that will take care of your problem as well as lose some excess weight

Handsome Bob: thanks for the tip, while I'm at it I might plasma cut your fingers off so you can't type dumb ****.

kxxryzex: yeah I did! Some nice forum member IM'd me and told me the secret to it.

Now all of the interior behind the seats is GONE! Including spare/jack/etc. I love the raw look of the bare red metal.

I am confused. I thought these things didnt have rear seats. I have an 86 GXL and it has no rear seats, and no place for them, the front seats sit right against the little storage things. My brother has a 85 GS, and his is the same way.

The rear seats replace the storage bins. They are also pretty useless, you have to move the front seat up pretty much all the way to have any leg room in back, then your head hits the ceiling.

Just pull up the bottom part of the seat and you will see the holes for the seat belts they are located mid way on each side of the sheet metal...they should have a rubber groomet in them just pop that out and install the bolts.......I just ripped out my rear bins and put in a rear seat..

I will go later and take out my seat and try and get pics for you....
