Guys I need to swap this extra NA tranny I have into my Miata so I can get to work. I have the Miata tranny out but need to swap bell and tail housings. I have the tail done but can't seem to get the bell housing off. I removed the front plate inside of it and the snap rings.....

2. Take plasma torch and cut bellhousing
3. Take your favorite TIG welder and attach miata bellhousing
4. Enjoy...

 

Sorry, I tried entering that in the L33t and ebonics online translators and still didn't get anything. Maybe your keyboard isn't working?

 

what they are all telling you is that you cannot remove the bellhousing on your NA transmission unless you chop it off

You don't, you switch the gears in the case. This also requires machining the input shaft so it's not something you can do in your garage.

Only the TII has a removable bellhousing. The NA bellhousing is also the front half of the gearbox.
