How do you know when fuel cut hits
I have an 87 TII engine, and i just turned up the boost, but, the funny thing is, i was hitting 10, 11, sometimes 12 psi without hitting a brick wall or even going lean at all. How do you know if you are hitting fuel cut. I do NOT have a fuel cut defender. Thanks alot.

Send me your BMX parts
generally you should feel an almost cutting out feeling with a sharp noise that goes along with it.. Don't find out the hard way, that turbo is on death's door at 12psi...

I was told that fuel cut was at 8.5 psi.....
im running about 9 right now. No lean outs, goes pretty good. even if it does creep to 11 lbs, it doesnt cut out or anything.

Hmm, nothing like that. What could be different about my car? Does jspec computer not have a fuel cut? I KNOW for sure it has no fuel cut defender. At about 9lbs and over, i notice that i dont gain power anymore, but i dont lose it. Im pretty sure im driving the compressor out of its efficiency range at that level. 8 lb seems to do just right.
