How do you change comp ratio in a rotary engine?

Never said those in particular did. If you notice I just said I got an rx8 with "no options" and I went on to say that not only did I want the lightest rx8 I could but "least amount of frills rx8 I could"

I never meant that TC and DSC added weight, I was just making a point that I wanted nothing EXTRA on my car.

Oh and though they are software, there are a couple things added to the car that you need to have for them. I'm not exactly sure what, but for example with DSC, I think (might be TC though, can't remember), equipped rx8's there is a button to turn it off. People that dyno rx8's have to turn it off for the dyno run or they have problems. I don't even have that button, so obviously I'm missing more than just the software. However that button and tiny bit of wiring probably amounts to a few ounces at most, but I'm not sure exactly what all is involved with having either of those components.

...And now that we've gone sufficiently off topic, thread closed. If the original poster would like to begin a new thread, then be my guest...

And one more thing...

The behaviour of some people in this thread is a little disappointing. A simple "check the FAQ for your answers" would have sufficed. Instead, this poster is attacked and insulted...
