How do you attach the injectors to the fuel rails for testing purposes?

I'm trying to figure out where my injector problem lies and I need to tie them to the rails to test. I tried tieing them to the rails with twine, but apparently it didn't work, as one of the injectors popped off and now I have fuel all over the place.
I searched and all I came up with was "tie them to the rails" and "zip-tie them to the rails."
Does anyone have any specific directions on how they did it that works?

I used zip ties in a criss-cross pattern to tie mine in. If you have safety wire, that would work even better. As I recall, I just let the rail dangle, with the injectors aimed toward a coffee can, and then just rotated the CAS.

Yeah, thats how I was planning on setting it up. So just zip tie them in a criss-cross pattern? Hmmm, I'll have to try that.

After looking at it, I just don't see how I could keep it on with zip ties. There jsut doesn't look like there is a place to hold them on in the right place on the fuel rail. If it matters, this is with s5 rails. I doubt I will be able to get to it tomorrow or tuesday, but maybe wednesday I can give it another go.

You take three zip ties. Loop one around the base, but not too tightly.

Then you take the other two zip ties and run them thru the one you just put around the base and tie them off at the top of the rail.

Jpg attached. You owe me three zip ties.

I just imaged pressurizing the system and watching my injectors fly across my yard and promptly getting sprayed in the face by gas..

Mine popped off, but the string was enough to keep it from flying off. The gas doesn't spray out either, its more like a garden hose. Its still enough to make a major mess, though.
Thanks for the jpeg Hailers, you're a lifesaver. I can hook you up with the zip-ties next time I'm in Fort Worth
