How do u install hks boost gauge

How do u install hks boost gauge

I just bought these gauges from japan for my fc. I was wondering how do I install them and if I have all the parts I need. I have a hks electronic boost gauge and a electronic Exhaust temp

I have pics but dont know how to post them

Thanx for helping out. I have the exh temp guage and it connects to the boost guages wire harness. So its just the blue yellow green.

Install the boost sensor in the engine bay. Connect it to a vacuum source (the line running to the stock boost sensor is ideal....use a T fitting). Run wires to the passenger compartment. Mount the gauge, connect it to a switched 12V source (black wire with yellow stripe) and connect to your boost sensor.

EGT is basically the same, but you will need to drill a hole in your downpipe and weld in a bung to hold the sensor.

This HKS gauge is electronic and dosen't have a vac line going into it. I think its suppose to have another box to pic up the signal, like a MAP sensor or Boost sensor. I was thinking about trying to tapp it into the stock boost sensor

I have the same type of gauge. It has its own boost sensor which you can order from HKS if you dont already have it.

Yea there is supposed to be something else with vacuum lines then you plug that into the gauge, so you are missing a part. I guess the EGT part is missing also if you don't have any temp sensors. good luck!
