how do I take out head light switch from cluster surround

I'm trying to take out the head light switch without breaking it. I start out by pulling the ***** straight out but after that it won't come straight out. I will post a pic later on if you all don't know what I'm talking about

You need to remove the entire guage cluster surround to get to the switch.

Probadly you fried the switch and the small harness between the large harness and switch.

Its very easy and takes about 5 minutes to replace. make sure you reconnect harnesses, before you try to reinstall everything.

Aren't there two screws holding it in place? Maybe not.

you just have to kinda force it out. push on the sides where the ***** were removed to push the switch back inside the cluster surround and pull it out.

i am sure. you have to use some force and just pull it out (as long as the rest of the screws are removed).
