How do i keep my lug nuts from getting so tight?

Every time i need to take the wheel off my car, they are on there so tight that i cant get them off. Even if i put the lug nuts on the last time so I KNOW they arent that tight, the next time i need to i cant get the darn things off. And dont just say im weak (well, i am, but thats not the problem), cause they wont come off with me AND my dad wrenching on in at the same time! Yesterday we twisted and bent the lug wrench trying to get one of them off.

I have never had this problem with any other car. Does this happen to you guys? Is there a way to prevent it?

thanks,
Greg

Use anti-seize on the threads (as you should be doing to all threads that don't require threadlocker or sealant) and torque to the proper spec.
