I want to get the greddy type rs bov for my car and I was wondering how I would install it. Has anyone else done this?

either you buy the Greddy's compressor/intercooler duct which replaces the existant piece or you weld a flange to the existant duct.

after that you connect the TOP nipple on the BOV to the top vacuum nipple in front of the UIM.

I have the BOV very nice.

If FMIC I hope this is self explanatory. If not here are a few options.

You can get a replacement metal piece from greddy. To pricy!

Here is how I would do it. Order a steal flange. Take it to a machine shop and have them use a hole saw with a 2in bit. They will cut the flange to have a half circle cut out of it. This will allow it to sit flush over a round pipe of 2in.

Now take your factory piece off of the car. Go to a exhaust shop. Tell them to mimic this piece, it is 2in. Where the ABV valve was you want to mount this flange. They will weld it all up for you nice and neat. Total cost maybe 15$

Get some nice paint and spray your new pipe what ever color you desire :-D

Now go home bolt the BOV to the flange and place your new pipe where the old one used to be. Hook the BACV up. T a VAC line into the line in the back side of the UIM and run this to the BOV.

Go drive it stand on the gas, let off and wooshhh.
