How do i drop the driveshaft??? Turbo II

we're trying to drop the engine and we came to a halt when we came to taking down the transmission. We want to take the driveshaft linkage off the back of the transmission but we cant figure out how to go about this. Could someone please help us with this??? Is there a special tool i need to get the driveshaft off it kind of looks like the hole is notched....

thanks

Four 14mm bolts where it meets the diff... You'll need two 14mm's to get the nuts... Then once the rear is dropped you just pull the yoke out of the tranny... Pretty simple actually...

put the e-brake on to keep the rearend from moving when unbolting. Don't forget to mark the position of the driveshaft with the rearend, whiteout works good.

Then it may be remounted 'out of balance' and vibrate the car.

Yea I forgot to mention wedging a screwdriver in to keep it stationary... Then you just spin it around until you get to the next bolt...

If the car vibrates, go back and turn the shaft 180 degrees and bolt it back in place.
