How do I ajust my Blitz DD BOV? Seached

I know this has been covered before, but my searches didn't come up with what I needed.

I just installed my BOV. I got it on EBay and its a Blitz Dual Drive. Mine looks a little different from the one one the Blitz site. The difference is instead of a nut and a threaded shaft on top of the BOV for adjustment, mines just an allen bolt that goes into the BOV. Is my BOV normal, or has it been modified. If its normal, how do I adjust my BOV, if its adjustable. Thanks!

Swift, out.

Many bovs have an allen screw/bolt to adjust it. There should be a lock washer and nut also to prevent it from moving after you have set it. The tighter you turn the allen bolt the stronger the spring tension making it more difficult for the bov to go off, the looser it is the easier the bov will open.

Weird. I hope the spring is still in there. You can try and look up a diagram for the blitz bov and see if all the parts are there. since you bought it off ebay there is a chance it has been taken apart before.

What makes you think it's too loose btw?

Well you can try a longer bolt, but what'd I'd do first is loosen up the bolt and see if there is even any difference when tightening or loosening it. I kinda have a feeling something isnt right with it.

Also I should mention that blitz bovs have a tendency to leak. If you search you'll find it somewhat common for them to be leaking.

Im pretty sure its holding boost. My boost gauge reads about the same amount of boost before the BOV install. I havent gone WOT to redline yet so I cant confirm if its holding boost up to 8psi-9psis.
