How to do 62mm TB change?

i've been looking around for universal throttle bodies around 62mm and was wondering if anyone had a write up on this or if it could work. I was thinking about getting a TB out of an old ford or camaro but not shure what would work. Any info would be helpful on a TB change.

do a search in the Rotary Performance section for posts by "RotaryGod" and his threads over his custom intake manifold.

Mixxed opinions on the results. The only way I'd put a single-bore TB on a wankel (and I -do- intend to) is a complete tubular manifold designed for it.

BTW 62mm is a little small. The stock TB has a cross-sectional area of ~72mm from what I recall.

For my intake manifold project, I bought 2 TB's. 1 was an 86mm SVO TB (WAY too big, but I got a deal and made money off of it) then a ~68mm TB from a 4.6L.

I'll eventually put it to use, but I'm kindof drained by bills right now. Once my cashflow comes back, something shall happen.

You have one of the biggest OEM TB's around and you want to change it? Why?

You're going to need to increase the size of the TB by a lot to make any performance increases worth the considerable effort. Anything smaller than ~75mm is wasting your time.
