Question How to define the offset for FC/FD

I knew its a old topic but I really confuse on the offset on 2nd gen FC and 3rd gen FD. The reason that I start this thread because people always say they are selling the wheels for RX7 but never mention is for FC or FD.

Can anyone define the offset questions?? Thanks

What is the best offset for F 8 R 9 and F 8.5 R 9.5 for FC and FD??

Are you talking about the WIDTH of the wheel? As in 6JJ = stock? I'm lost...
Hey also - anybody know where to get some good fat wheels?

Yes, since the stock TII rims is 16x7 offset 40. If change to larger and wider rims, the offset will be different. So, how to get the best offset.

like 18" rim with F8 R9 and F8.5 R9.5. What's the best offset for those?

great link Ted. I added it to the FAQ for all these people that keep asking what size wheel offset they should use when going with a bigger than stock wheel.
