Because the S-AFC II is less than half the price, and if you needed more, the Greddy E-Manage does about the same for less.

Except retains the MAF this is superior to the E-Manage in my opinion.

a few supra guys yse this, thier is one dealer in north america and he's charging well and above MSRP for the product.. this above all turned off allot of would be buyers for the product.. you can get a VPC for less then this or an Emanage or even an E6K if you look at the right time.. the price is by far the biggest drawback to the product..

I think it was figured out over at suprafourms that the importer/reseller is charging $200-$235usd over the MSRP, even with shipping from NZ. where it's made. I guess thier's allot of really rich but very dumb MkIV owners out there that support this pricing .. because I don't know any MKIII owners that would be caught dead paying that for a MAF converter..

You set the SAFC to whatever AFM style your car uses, flap, hot wire, etc..

lmao, i thought this would be a great idea, but then i saw someone in here quote the price! wow, how in the hell do they ever expect to sell this product? you can spend around two hundred more and get a haltec with all the sensors! why is it so expensive? Is it really that complicated?

I would never use any piggyback that cost that much you might as well get a stand alone
Although i will admit it looks really nice and i would seriously consider that if it wer halft the price

I was talking to the guy who imports them today.. his reasoning for charging DOUBLE the price of the ones in the US .. ( you get the ver. 2.2 SW and some pre done maps and installation booklet for the US market..)_.. for this your paying an extra $450 us. he asked me if I wanted to be a dealer ( I have a shop ) I said why ? my customers come in would see this for @ $1300 Candian see an emanage for 1/2 that, a EMS stinger standalone 4424 for the same price and a E6X for @ $200 more.. i would have your 5 inital orders on my shelf till flying cars came along at that price schedule... it seems his only customers I've come across are the MkIV guys with too much money that shop at powerhouse racing. ( the distributor for most of the world outside NZ unfortunately.. )
