I dont want to crank over the engine since various other parts are removed... The jumper thing is what I was talking about... Does anyone know how to prime the fuel system using the jumper...?

There is a 2 pin fuel pump jumper connection in the front of the right side strut tower. I believe it's yellow, but it's been a while since I've used it, and the car is in the garage under a cover. Checked the S5 FSM, they say it's yellow.

Its a yellow two pin connector that sits by the pass side strut tower. Jumper it and when the key is on, the pump will run. No cranking required. Makes a great leak checking tool.

Yup, you got it. It sits just below your intake to the left a bit.
