How can I Tell???
Hi All,
Is there an easy way I can tell what engine mods have been done. I can see that it has new exhaust & a K&N air filter. What else should I look for? It feels pretty fast, but it's the only RX-7 I've ever driven so I have no real comparison. If I were to compare acceleration to my Porsche 914, the RX is a lot quicker to rev.

look online for bolt on mods, then check if you have it, though some mods you will never see, like porting, which makes a large difference. You may have a hi-performance exhaust, cat back, straight pipe, no emissions. However there are not many mods for an N/A unless you pump out the cash, my rebuild is some $5,000 so far(ceramic apex seals, half bridgeport.....so on) hope this helps you
