How can I take ignition switch off?

How can I take ignition switch off?
I bought a new lock for driver site door
So I want to reset ignition key but still can not take the switch off
thx a lot

Goto your local lock smith and have him rekey the new door lock. Our local guy charges $35dollars for the rekey and new dust cover.

oh, and a lock smith could probably deal without removing, or remove it himself, the ignition lock set.

oh actualy I want to know how can I do it by myself ^_^
I can reset the key but can not take it off damn
