how can i remove the power window switches?

how can i get to the power window switches so that i can clean the contacts inside them? i want to try that before i fork over the cash for new ones

hehe if i can recall correctly...just pop em out with a screw driver...i think from front to back or back to front...there is a clip that holds it there but fairly easy to pop it out...no screws! hope it helps otherwise remove the panel and like NZ said..."it will be revealed"

1. remove the door panel
2. unplug the wiring harness from the switch
3. push the switch up thru the TOP of the armrest (it's clipped in)

If you try prying it out w/o taking off the door panel you're going to break/chip something.

Like he said......pry from front to back. Mine came out fairly easy. Cleaned them out, Superglued that POS arm that engages the switch and so far so good....works like a charm.
