how can i find my computer?
the previous owner of my car put an aftermarket computer on it, but i do not know what kind it is. i have not been able to find it anywhere in the car. are there any specific wires that i could trace back to the computer? or if nothign else, where are the usual places to mount a computer?

I hope you can find your computer.

Pop the hood.
Remove both battery cables.
Turn battery 180 degrees.
Install cables on reversed battery.
This will connect - to + and + to - (backwards)
Observe interior of car.
follow smoke.

if you sit in the passenger seat with your legs extended, it's under your feet where the floor is at an incline. remove the scuff plate on the door and pull up the carpet. it's the metal box that's under the kick plate (need to remove that too).
it takes about 10 mins to get to.
