how big it to big

ok I read the archive for porting the intake but im wondering. Do I make all the holes bigger like so I have to trim the gaskets to fit or do I just sorta grind out the flat surfaces inside so there is easier air flow? I think I can do either but what do you guys suggest. how big can i go?

Primary issue is to smooth everything out as much as possible... after that it's hard to say. When I did mine I was very carful not to over do it. I just matched the gasket and smoothed all the surfaces out.

yep dont cut the gasket and dont go past the gasket,

This is what I do,I take a dark blue permant marker and mark around the area of where im gonna port.

Line up the gasket and scribe a nice guide line, and dont go outside of it.
