how bad did I rape my e shaft?

Well after every puller and grease method failed to get My pilot bearing out I broke out the dremel and got the rollers out then started diggin in the the race which I apparently managed to grind through to the e shaft.....
Mark feels deeper than it looks.. am I over thinking it? Is it destroyed? Should I just install new bearing and forget about it?

As long as the new bearing is right enough not to spin in there, you're good.

Got the new bearing and seal in without destroying it. Now to just wrestle the trans in with just my skinny ***, a shitty jack and some wood lol

don't wrestle trannies. They / it / schman have feelings to. Build an "H" out of your wood as a jig and use your shitty jack to lift it. beyond that, some more wood as a lever as need be.

I get creative sometimes being a tall skinny bastard myself.

make sure that the rear of the engine is lower than the front of the engine(tilted)..
it makes life a lot easier to get the Transmission in.

and Phil....Don't wrestle with a Tranny..they don't play fair and will grab ya by the D***..!
