How bad is this?

About a month ago I changed the gasket between the turbo and the stock dp/cat. The dp broke at the flange to the 1ft long straight pipe. I welded it but it looks like the weld gave out and now the straight pipe hangs about 1/2 way below the dp. The car is loud as hell, had some more pep in the lower gears but I'm also shooting flames under the car. I pulled in my driveway after about a 20min drive at about 80 and I was hearing this wierd puff sound. Open the door and take a look underneth and I saw flames and I'm not talking small puffs of blue. Flames as long as 6". Kinda like when they showed you that shot of the inner working of the 13brew with the flame shooting out the tailpipe on fast and the furious. Think its safe to drive. Meaning its not doing to literally blowup on me is it?

I'd be worried about roasting something, or catching the car on fire. Fire is only supposed to be shooting out the exhaust tips

I'm no huge rotary genius, but flames + car are usually = bad.

No flames coming out of the tip is normal if your not running any cats...
