How about this air to water IC

Too much time on my hands. I decided to "layout" an inline air to water intercooler that is mounted off of a Racing Beat strut bar via custom brackets.
You can see in the diagram the location of a electric fan, PWR inline A/W IC, 3" ducting, IC heat exchanger and the circulation pump.
I can operate the pump on a manual switch or hook it up to my left over E-fan thermostat and turn it all the way down. This way the pump will turn on with the IC heat exchange fan.
The hose routing is from the discharge of the pump into the top of the IC heat exchanger, out the bottom to the IC inlet and ou the IC outlet to the pump inlet. This completes the closed loop system.
I might even add a Moroso cool can for those track days and just add ice.
Short and sweet turbo duct runs with no cutting.
Ok you pit bulls, tear it apart.

Lookie, Lookie no talkie.
I would like to know if anyone has seen an installation like this using an inline.
How did it perform? Any problems with the engine bay heat that the heat exchanger can't handle?
I plan on using this set up in my 88 AE, just want to get some insight on any issues.
Has anyone used an inline Air to Water unit?
Thanks
