How do you get the needles off the gauge cluster? Somone before me put in a custom back ground... Needles to say it is hella ugly. And i am trying to get it out. The only way yo get it out is to take off the needles!
Anyone have any advice? And no. Pulling them doesn't work, i already screwed up the oil pressure gauge. (Thats okay because i have an aftermarket to replace it)
Cheers,
Evan!

I didn't take the needles off. just lift them a hair and slide the overlay on. take out the screws that mount the gauge plates and slide the overlay on top.. Install the screw and your set.. Real Easy..

Before i had the car someone took the off the needles i think and then superglued them back into place because underneath the needles there is a piece of blue film... and its starting to look like a shitty tint job... It just looks horrible.

Only the large needles/pointers come off, by just popping them up and off.
As mentioned above do not try and remove the smaller needles as they are not desined to be removed, and you will need to rebuild and recalibrate the gauge if they are removed.
And this was just covered two days ago...
