housing question

housing question

i have some t2 housings that have a good sized gouging in the middle right at the exhaust port can these be reused
???

If you can run your fingernail across the gouge and it catches, then they are junk.

fingernail heck it catches on my finger tip i just thought i might try to save them since its on both only at the edge of the exhaust port

Gouging at the exhaust port is normal. The severity will determine whether the housing can be used again. It's best to post some pictures, otherwise any replies are just guesses.
