hot start problems... maybe a solution?
hot start problems... maybe a solution?
Okay, with my car I have this hot start problem, similar to other people's. I noticed when the car is turned off, and under load, ie. headlights, stereo, or the battery has drained just a little bit lower, my car is harder to start, it still turns over, but just takes a little bit longer, and turns over slower. I was wandering if maybe the wiring going to the starter may not be getting enough voltage, and if maybe rewiring the start could do the trick? I donno... this seems like it might work. Anyone else got an opinion?

define your hot start problem... flooding???
Or not cranking over correctly when starting warm???
The normal hot start problem on a FC is caused by leaking injectors, causing the flooding problem.
But if your problem is with the starting not cranking when warm then replacing the starter would be required.
