Hot or Not ? BBS rims...

Just wondering what you guys think of these...

BBS RGR rims 17X8 and weigh 17.2 lbs. +40 offset. They are fully forged.

For a 91 TII white stock body.

Linkie....

James

Edit: Tire rack says this is a good size tire...215/45-17 That seems like the right + sizing to keep the speedo true. Could you go wider?

OR

The silver version?

They look good, but are hard to clean because of all the spokes. I had a similar design on a 02 GTI 337.

Damn! For that price you could get a set of the 3 piece CCW wheels, only $1900 for the set. Here you're looking at $2400. That and the CCW wheels look very similar to the BBS's. At least if it was me, that'd be what I'd do...

www.ccwheel.com

EDIT: Oh, forgot to mention, they make them to whatever width you want (up to 17") and whatever offset you want for your application. That's also included in the cost, too.

Nothing beats the classic BBS mesh design, it looks good on any car.

badass wheels....but my opinion....the wheels are too new of a design for the car. they arent "classic" bbs wheels
