Paint it white, Get one of those solar powed fans that they have on tv, Or you could always suck it up and deal.

Or you could even leave it running all the time with your ac on.

Thats all I can think of.

Crack the windows. Or you could get one of those reflective things for the windsield. I saw an ad on tv for some fan that sits over the window that sucks out the hot air. Cracking both windows actually helps a good bit.
Edit: here's the product http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...9867?n=3760901

what about tinting the rear window. the high temps are with the windows cracked. i hate that solar window thing. i had the idea like 2 years ago but with a sun roof.

It helps a bit. I have tint on both of my side windows as well as my rear hatch. 30% on the sides and 20% in the rear. It DOES help a bit, but if your car is black like mine, you'll still go into a baking car if it's left out in the sun all day. The metal on the body is BURNING hot.

Tinting IMO, is not enough to keep the heat out. I would go with one of those reflector things for the windshield.

Car cover will work a bit since it lets you leave your windows opened wider w/o much sun getting in and w/o much worries... tint... buy those foldable covers for the dash and buy two extra ones to cover the seats and the rear. make sure you keep your car waxed too. add plastic protection to all parts of the body including the interior to avoid cracking. lighter cars will reflect light and heat while darker cars will absorb light and heat.

I crack my sunroof up to let the heat escape (heat rises) and put a sun deflector thing on my front window. That thing actually helps a lot, and it takes literally 10 seconds at most to set up.

How can you not like the a/c? Is it the power loss? If you think its hot maybe you should turn your a/c on.

or, freakin buy a Vert 7 or a miata, and keep moving... other than that just crack a window, wipe your interior with some of that Heat Gaurd stuff and deal.

or you could hassle with the little flimsy things you put in your window. I duno if tinting actualy works too well, not worth the hassle imo, but all things combined, it should bring temps down
cheers!

Edit:
oh yeah, try and park in some shade lol

theres no such thing as "Heat Guard"... the only protection you can get are UV protectants for leather and plastics. they condition and protect so it doesnt fade or crack.

I have the a sunshade for my car, plus i keep the sunroof 1/4 of the way open. The best way for me to cool my car down is to pop the hatch when I get in, and the breeze usually blows all the hot air out of the car.

Limo tint on the rear hatch.

Front window shade
Windows and sunroof cracked open.

Then the easy one. Depending on the time of day. Park at an agle to keep the shade on your seats.

ive got a black fc with blue leather and have to park in the sun, no choice.
that said, i keep windows 1/4 way down, sun roof open all the way or only popped depending on the sky, the visor thing for the front, which btw keeps the seats cool, and thats about it. and it never really gets that bad. just about ambient. ill have to try the hatch thing tho.

speaking of the car being at high temp's... Is it me, or is it my car... or better yet... is it typical for a FC to get hot inside while driving? My car tends to heat up from the inside... mainly because of the tranny. Is there any way to fix this? or is it typical, or normal? I personally dont care... but if its something i can fix then ill do it.

Thanks!

It's somewhat typical. Make sure you heat shields are installed. You can also wrap/coat your exhaust and improve the heatshields. Also check to make sure your shift boots aren't messed up (probably are).

The solar powered fan thing doesn't work. My boss got two of them and he's returning both. It seems to work when you first hear it, but think about it and try it out. Next time you're car is in the sun put the key in the on position and turn on the fan on vent. It hardly cools down at all. All it does is circulate hot air outside into your car.
