Trying to connect a push button start on my 86 fc because the ignition cylinder went out . The module on the back with the plugs is fine. It springs back after you put it to start. The 12v source on the stock harness gets warm and I lose voltage. Trying it on the switch, things prime and there's noise but no start, the switch is set up right and getting full power in and out but no start .I even used the source from here about the wiring harness and that was right, what could cause the voltage drop and the wire to get hot. Thank you.
