Hoses off of airbox?

Hoses off of airbox?

Help someone i am making a custom intake what do i do with the hoses comeing off the airbox. Can i just plug them up? what are they for?

The oly hose that I remember is for the airpump. You need to get a $15 2" diameter air filter from a parts store for that. If not, your cats will clog up.

when i get my cone filter.. i ran a small breather filter and plugged it where the airbox is so that damn hissing sound wouldnt continue...

when i got my cone filter. i had the same problem so i ran a small breather filter and plugged it where the air pump hose started is so that damn hissing sound wouldnt continue... and so the airpump wouldnt suck any debris...

so you can clog it up or you can put a filter on it? My cats are removed aswell so they arent going to clog?

Hmm if your airpump is still on, no don't plug it. Put your finger on there. There's air trying to be sucked in. So if you plug it, and it's not getting air, imagine what that would do to the airpump (damage it). Why not just remove the airpump since you have no cats?
