horn doens't work

horn doens't work

my damn horn stopped working on me. i check the switch (in the steering wheel) the relay and the horns. i can hear the relay click but i don't get power at the horns. i checked all the fuses and they were all good. at least untili blew the gauge cluster fuse. anyone got any ideas what else it could be?

Needs the CPU to work... do you have ground on the CPU's Green/orange wire when you press the honr button.

You should. If you don't you have a bad horn button.

if the horn button checks out; check the Green/White going into the same plug. It should have 12Volts on it at all times. If it does not the horn fuse or main fuse or underhood 60 amo fuse is blown.

If it is still not working check the CPU output. When ever you press the button on the horn you should have 12 volts on the Green/red in that same CPU plug. If you don't fix or replace the CPU. If you do replace the horns.

Your need Horn Fluid

Hehe actually mine did the same thing and it ended up being a fuse. Now whats really weird is that it was working, then it stopped working...so I looked at all the fuses and noticed that one was missing....put it in and bam my horn worked. I now have a fuse in every place....but then again the electrical part of my car has a mind of its own
