Hood swap!!

Wondering if someone knows if an '88 turbo II hood will bolt up to a '90 no turbo Convertible? I know lots have done it cause these hoods are like slim to none to find. So tell me how your project went or if you know someone whose done it.

Sweet. I was hoping you'd say that. I had a small fender bender. Hit and run. His insurance is cutting me a check. Might as well swap for that hood I've allways wanted. Thanks.

It is, in fact, a direct bolt on. But just so you know, the aluminum hoods have different hinges and different latches. That said, don't worry about that unless you plan to keep the car for many, many years.

Go48: Vert hoods and 95% of TII hoods are aluminum.
