do you think that a couple sheets of fibreglass wrapped in AL foil would do well as a temporary exhaust gasket? maybe a week?

Yea i think you said that in your origional post. Be more specific like which gasket it is. Is it the one between the engine and the manifold, between the manifold and the turbo, etc etc etc....................

 

flange gaskets... like from cat to DP and from cat to y pipe. basically everything but the manifold gaskets. sorry about that.

 

I dont know if that will last a week. That gets pretty friggin hot right there. But hey youll never know unless your try it

 

Or just run w/ the downpipe until next week
