hmm..idea...
Im wondering..do any of you know of a way so that when the lights are off & down when you 'activate' the flash-to-pass lights, they just come on as long as they are pulled on. I think it would be incredibly cool if i could pull on it, and have it stay on till i pull it again (work like the brights do) then i could drive around at twilight w/ my parking lights on and my FTP lights on at the same time...

go to the how to section of my site. It has a crude write-up on how to do that mod by using a switch. I'm going to take pics tomarrow hopefully if it does not snow.
It's under "sleepy-eye switch" but it works for this as well.
www.superseven.8m.com If you are on dial-up, wait a minute. The whole page WILL load.

Have you ever tried drving around with the headlights shining through the FTP's only? The lightin is just pathetic. Looks like you're just driving around with your fog lights on, from the driver's seat. NOT SAFE!

exactly! That's why I just wired in a switch. In the off position, the headlights come on but don't pop up. They just shine through the FTP lense. When my switch is in the on position, the headlights pop up and function as normal.

i understand they're weak, but using them when its light enough out to see where your going would just add to the cars coolness id want to do exactly what supergoat did with having normal functions at night driving.

Well, that'd be a good idea in the sense of having daytime running lights, I suppose. It would make it somewhat more noticeable in glare-type situations, I think.
