HKS vs tial wastegates

I am in the market for a wastegate this week and I was seeing that their was a big price difference with tial and hks wastegates. Any reason besides the "brand name factor" between the 2 of these?

From what I hear, the quality of the Tials are second to none. Which is cheaper?

Tial is around $500, and the HKS GT-series is slightly higher.

$500 is nothing compared to the rest of the cost of a full turbo setup.

It's not.
I still think the HKS Race 50mm, street price around $700, is better than the Tial.
Tial dues make a special 55mm "race" version that's priced around $1,350!

We don't run ANY Turbonetics wastegates anymore.
We've seen too many of them sieze during racing a few years ago, and I wouldn't trust my motor to them even if one was given to me for free.
